VP Emerging Media
David Gill is VP, Emerging Media at Nielsen, a leading global provider of information and analytics around what consumers buy and what they watch.
In this role, David oversees Nielsen's relationships with clients in the emerging markets of mobile, social and local media with research and consultative services. Prior to Nielsen, David was a Senior Director at M:Metrics and spent eight years with Motorola and Freescale Semiconductor in various sales and business development roles, both in the US and Europe. David is a frequent speaker at leading digital media industry events and is considered an expert in providing insight into consumer activity on emerging platforms. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas in Austin and lives in Austin, Texas.
