Dr. Brandman has been involved in healthcare for many years. Trained as an internist, an ER physician, a preventive medicine specialist, including a MPH from UC Berkeley, she used that knowledge with payers to improve medical management strategies, automate administrative solutions and build e-business solutions for provider systems, insurers, patients, and employers.  She has been a speaker at HIMSS and Gartner, and consults with telecom companies and device manufacturers on strategy, focused on technology, applications, and Big Data.  Most recently, she worked at Aetna to build and enable partnerships with providers in Accountable Care.
