Tim Burks is a freelance software developer in Palo Alto focusing on apps for iOS. Tim also organizes the Silicon Valley iOS Developers' Meetup and Renaissance, a three day conference for iOS app developers addressing the design, business, and technology of apps. Past projects include apps for real estate, enterprise device and information management, casual games, and personal robotics. Prior to iOS, Tim worked in Electronic Design Automation for IBM and Magma Design Automation. Tim has a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan.
